Joey and I planned the wedding entirely on our own. A large portion of it was DIY, so of course somewhere along the way we decided on tea influences. We made our favors and they included a tin full of loose leaf tea and two candies that were tea flavored. Joey and I hunted through tons of used book stores for green and black books, which ended up being one of my favorite wedding projects. Also, my sister and I painted some of the tea pots... it was a lot harder than you would expect. Unfortunately, I did not get a picture of my cupcake stands which I made out of alternating plates and upside down tea cups. They turned out very cute.I definitely recommend personalizing your wedding if you plan on getting married! Tons of people commented on how nice it was to have the wedding reflect us as a couple.
